There is a place where striving ends and surrender begins, A place where the glory of God is revealed, not through human strength, but through yielded hearts. Where you no longer distinguish between what is natural and what is supernatural, because God is at work in both.
When we surrender to the Holy Spirit and fully avail ourselves to Him, God reveals His glory. Through healing, deliverance, wonders, and not because of who we are, but because of who He is. All of it flows from surrender, in the name of Jesus.
What Is the Glory of God?
The glory of God reveals His presence. It displays His beauty, His wonder, and His might. God stands exalted, not us.
When God reveals His glory, people don’t encounter a platform, a personality, or a performance. They encounter Jesus.
Scripture reminds us that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14).
God’s glory is always His desire, which is to be known, seen, and experienced among His people.
The Invitation to Surrender
We come to know, see, and experience God through surrender. Surrender is not a one-time act. It is a daily posture. We must always be in a posture of surrender.
It is surrendering the weight you’ve been carrying, control, and self-reliance, and surrendering to the Lord.
Jesus invites us, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28). Surrender is how we come. It is how we make room for the Holy Spirit to move.
Why the Holy Spirit Is Essential
Jesus did everything on earth, every miracle, every healing, every act of compassion, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Scripture tells us, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power… for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).

And Jesus made it clear that this power would not end with Him. He said, “I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12).
That promise is only possible through the Holy Spirit.
The disciples did not walk in power because they were qualified. They walked in power because they were filled. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in us (Romans 8:11). When we surrender, the glory of God is revealed, through Him, not us.
A Living Revelation
As I caught up on The Chosen, it deeply encouraged me. One conversation stood out to me. My husband said, “It makes sense why Jesus had to go, and the Holy Spirit had to come.”
And when I asked him to explain, he reminded me that Jesus, in the flesh, could be in only one place at a time. Everywhere He went, people were pressing in; they sought His attention for healing, restoration, and to be seen.
But when the Holy Spirit came, God’s presence was no longer limited to one location. The Spirit now dwells among us and within us. He is everywhere.
This really stirred my faith and had me in awe for a couple of days. It’s incredible how one truth can shift your heart. The same power that healed then is available now, when we partner with the Holy Spirit.
From Glory to Glory
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just move around us. He works within us.
We are transformed, slowly, faithfully, intentionally. Scripture says, “We all… are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory… for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Glory is not a moment we chase. It is a life we are formed into by our daily posture of surrender. The Spirit shapes us to look more like Jesus, our words, our responses, our obedience, our love.

A Prayer of Surrender
This morning in prayer, I asked, “Holy Spirit, come.” I ask that you join me and ask the Holy Spirit to come, “Holy Spirit, come.” Now declare,
“We are being changed from glory to glory, becoming more like Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit who is at work within us.”
A Worshipful Response
There’s a worship song that’s been echoing in my heart as I write this blog, Too Good Not to Believe. Because some truths really are too good not to believe.
God still moves. He still heals, and God still reveals His glory. And He does it through surrendered hearts, yielded lives, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Living From His Presence
At Life in God, we believe surrender leads to dwelling, and dwelling leads to abiding. When we surrender to the Holy Spirit, we don’t just witness the glory of God; we live from it.
I encourage you to surrender fully and make room daily, so God reveals His glory in and through your life.
